The Bluetti also boasts a 1000 watt pure sine wave inverter and an MPPT solar charge controller with a max input of 60 volts. That is significantly more than the Inergy Kodiak Solar Generator or any of the Goal Zero Yeti’s.   

The Bluetti also comes pre-installed with low temperature protection as well as high temperature protection for its lithium battery cells which is quite unique amongst portable solar generators.  This means that in extreme climates the Bluetti will automatically protect its battery so you cant damage it.  The LCD screen gives you all the important information about your generator including how many watts are going in & how many are going out for both the AC and DC power.   

How to recharge your MaxOak Bluetti Solar Generator:

The recommended solar input for the Bluetti is 400 watts at 12 Volts.  This will fully recharge your unit in around 3.5-4 hours of ideal sunlight.  Though the Bluetti is rated for 500 watts, its hard to get that exactly right and you can risk damaging the unit if you input too high a voltage or amperage. 

With this kit, you get 1 x 100 watt solar panel which is great for charging your Bluetti with solar power. At 100 watts, it will take approximately 15 hours to recharge the Bluetti from 0-100% capacity with solar power.

This kit also comes with PV connectors and 25 feet of PV extension cable so you will be able to attach your solar panel very easily and leave it in the backyard or in the sun, while the Bluetti EB150 remains at your feet.
